In this video, Kristina demonstrates her process of beadmaking at the torch, finishing the glass by coldworking, and incorporating both her glass and silverwork into completed pieces of jewelry.
She also discusses the history of glass beads and shares the philosophy of her work.

Kristina presented a talk for the CreativeMornings PKX series at The Music Hall Loft in Portsmouth, NH. In her talk, Transparency - From Hippy Van to the Smithsonian collection, Kristina spoke about the jewelry and objects she makes, her creative process, and the path she has traveled to get to where she is today.


A live stream demonstration from my recent trip to The Corning Museum of Glass. It is a view into the work I did as Guest Artist. I worked with talented glass blowers to create new goblets I am super excited about. (2 hours)


In 2016 Kristina was a Guest Artist featured in the Corning Museum of Glass Amphitheater Hot Shop. This special, extended demonstration provides a fascinating peek into the techniques, artistry, and improvisation that comprise contemporary glassmaking. The CMOG Hot Glass Demo Team assisted and Kristina narrated, answering audience questions in real time.
Kristina writes, "The experience gave me new ideas and insight into how I can incorporate blown elements into my future work. At the end of the demo, the piece broke while being removed from the pontil. It will be re-blown, a reminder that making is at times not perfect! Glass sometimes breaks; it is part of the process, and part of life's teachings."


This is a Live Stream Demonstration was filmed on February 8, 2012 during Kristina's Beadmaking: Expanding Your Skills class at The Studio at The Corning Museum of Glass. Her course focused on a broad spectrum of techniques: surface decorations, dots galore, clear casing, working large beads, and troubleshooting common mistakes and difficulties. In this video you will see Kristina make one of her signature disk, floral/mandala style beads from start to finish.


In the summer of 2011, Kristina taught a workshop with Davide Penso in Murano, Italy. This lively video shows the great energy of this very special teaching location where Kristina has taught many classes.


This video, created by Kristina, is part of a collection of videos made by the artists in the current exhibition, Connections: Contemporary Craft at the Renwick Gallery. In keeping with the theme "connections", the curator, Nora Atkinson, asked each artist to speak about another piece of art in the gallery. Kristina chose one of her favorite artists, Alexander Calder.
