Lay of
the Land
The studio location is in Provence, southern France--the northern
part of the province known as "Haute Provence". We
will be 5 km from Moustiers-St-Marie -- a picturesque village
perched on a hill, world famous for its ceramics. This village
is 80 km northeast of Aix-en-Provence. The area is renowned for
its hiking trails, fields of lavender, the Grand Canyon du Verdon
(the largest canyon in Europe) and the great, turquoise, lake
Sainte-Croix. |

Accommodations
& Studio Location
Everyone will be staying together at the Monastery of Ségriès (see more photos), which has been renovated into a bed & breakfast.
The rooms are spacious and include clean, modern bathrooms. There
is a central dining room, a large salon with a fireplace, an
inner courtyard, and terraces with fantastic, romantic views!
The two couples that own the monastery take pride in their hospitality
and culinary art. They will spoil you with their irresistible
cuisine - vegetables are freshly picked from their own garden
and the desserts and home baked breads are unforgettable. You
will feel like you are part of a family in the French countryside.

Transportation
Transportation will be provided to and from the Marseille airport
only on specified rendezvous dates and times before and after
the workshops.
