Online French Classes with Active French School

I am excited to be able to offer French Classes Online!

Now when I travel to France for extended periods of time, I will be able to keep contact with all of my students AND my students will be able to keep up with their French.

Please read below for how this will work.

How will it work?

• Each class will last 30 or 60 minutes just like the regular classroom lesson.
• Each class will focus (as usual) on your oral skills, French grammar, and oral comprehension.
• In order to be efficient during your Online Class and to enable you to speak more during class, I will send you materials via email in advance that we will work on in class.
• Materials will include--movie excerpts from YouTube, audio files, pictures, and exercises on PDF or Word documents. For Students starting to work with the new notebook, Alter Ego 1 or 2, we will continue to use this notebook during class.
• In addition, I will send students a special, personalized “Note From France”. This will be in the form of a poem, a short story, a reflection, an article, a joke, a recipe, or a picture, etc.

Online Classes can be scheduled in advance or month to month, or week to week.

• Schedule a class anytime with 12 hours notice.
• Cancel a class with 12 hours notice.
• Please Note: Classes canceled with less than 12 hours notice will be considered missed and payment is expected and appreciated for missed classes.
• Be aware of Time Zones! France is 6 hours AHEAD of the US (East Coast Time).
• The best time for classes will be Monday to Sunday from 7am to 2pm US East Coast Time.

Cost

• Prices will be the same as regular classroom lessons.
• Students can pay through PayPal or via US check sent to France.

About Skype...

• Online Classes can be held via Skype for our virtual classrooms because this messenger service is free for all, it offers a very good rate of stability and are very easy to use.
• Please set up an account on your computer ahead of time and test your system before class.

  I recommend the use of a headset for a better sound quality during the lesson.
